Beko Fridge Freezer Fire Scare
There was a lot of press last week around fires being caused by certain Beko fridge freezers. Beko have advised customers that risk is extremely low and to carry on using the affected models as normal unless customers notice significant change in the fridge freezers performance. For customers who are concerned Beko have asked to contact them directly.
Affected Models
The Beko frost free fridge freezer models affected were manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006. These have a serial number that begins with either 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 or 06. and this information can be found on a label inside the fridge. Beko is making a free of charge modification to all affected models, this modification takes approximately 30mins.
